MOKAN PANA first existed as the Recovery Room Association of Kansas City, a group of 44 nurses from the metro area who began to meet regularly in 1975. Our first president, Connie Meyer, was instrumental in the founding of ASPAN (the American Society of PeriAnesthesia Nurses) of which we are now a regional component. Today we comprise 225 members throughout the states of Missouri and Kansas. Because we are perianesthesia nurses we are able to provide the specialty education and resources you need to provide quality care for your patients. MOKAN PANA currently has two active local districts. The MetroKC district meets in the Kansas City area and provides two seminars annually.
